Ways We Work
No theatre. No middlemen. No surprises.
Every engagement starts with an Assessment.
Not because process needs to look tidy. Because in difficult situations you need a proper read on what is actually slowing things down, where responsibility has gone soft, and which conversation leadership has been avoiding.
We do not begin with a pre-packed model. We begin with observation, pressure-testing and judgement.
What you should expect from us
We listen first
Before anything gets proposed, we want to understand where the strain is in your reality. Not in the presentation. Not in the status deck. In the way the business is actually working.
You work with us directly
There is no hand-off to a delivery team. No junior layer between the problem and the people trying to read it. You work directly with Chris and Claudia and, where needed, carefully chosen senior specialists.
Your interests come first
We do not shape the answer around what is easiest for us to sell. We look at what your situation actually needs, and we say it even when the answer is awkward.
You see what we see
We work in the open. No black box. No selective storytelling. No fog created by cleaner-looking reporting. If we think something is weak, we say so. If we cannot support a conclusion properly, we say that too.
The knowledge stays with you
We are not trying to build dependency. We are trying to leave you better able to see, decide and lead than you were before.
We say no when needed
Not every situation needs us. Not every problem is best solved from outside. If we think internal resolution is the better route, we will say that plainly.
Why every engagement starts with an Assessment
Most companies get to us after enough has already been tried.
Channels have been changed. Partners have been changed. Dashboards have been rebuilt. Roles have shifted. More activity has been added.
And still the same drag sits underneath it all.
The Assessment is how we sort that properly. It shows what is actually happening, where the order is wrong, and what kind of support makes sense after that.
The three routes after that
Not every company needs the same next move. That is why we do not force everything into one model.
Senior support
Some situations mainly need an experienced outside view, stronger prioritisation and steadier guidance through a phase where too much is happening at once.
That is the right fit when:
- the underlying issue is broadly clear
- the internal capability is mostly there
- but order, focus and leadership grip are still weak
CMO sparring and cover
Sometimes a senior leader already knows where the real problem sits, but cannot place it internally without taking political damage.
That is where we work as senior sparring. We help sharpen the read, strengthen the argument, name the risks properly and support the harder conversations.
That is the right fit when:
- a CMO, marketing lead or business leader needs external backing
- decisions get approved but weaken in reality
- someone outside the system can say things more plainly than someone inside it can
Closer control of execution
In other situations, the insight is there but the change falls apart in practice. Not because no one is working, but because handoffs, roles and control are not strong enough to hold the change together.
That is where we stay closer. Not as an execution agency, but as senior control over a period where complexity would otherwise take over again.
That is the right fit when:
- multiple internal and external parties have to move together
- earlier work failed because follow-through was weak
- the real problem is not insight but staying power
What we do not do
We do not sell activity for its own sake.
We do not put a delivery layer underneath a structural problem.
We do not stretch uncertainty out by keeping people busy.
And we do not build dependency just to keep an engagement running.
If the Assessment shows that you can move forward properly on your own, that is a good result.
Who this way of working suits
This works if:
- you want the real issue named, not danced around
- too much internal energy is going into explanation instead of movement
- decisions are being made without properly taking hold
- you do not need agency theatre, just judgement, backbone and direction
How we start
The start is simple.
You explain what is not adding up.
We decide whether an Assessment is the right first step.
If it is, we begin there and work forward from what we find.
Not from a pre-built model. From what your situation actually needs.
Typical engagement flow
Clarity before commitment. Evidence before action. Competence before handover.
Initial conversation: listen, understand, test the fit
Scope and commercial proposal defined together
Assessment or intervention phase
Ongoing support or clean handover
If it cannot wait: compressed emergency timelines available. Emergency intervention
If it feels like what is missing is not more activity but a cleaner read on what is slowing the system down, then we should talk.
